Planned Giving

The gift of an IRA or qualified retirement plan allows you to control your money during your lifetime. This type of charitable gift doesn't require you to change your will. You may name EarthShare Ohio as the beneficiary of your IRA, or qualified retirement plan, by completing a new beneficiary form, or you may name several beneficiaries for one retirement asset. In addition to knowing that you're helping build a healthier world, your gift of these assets will not be taxed if they are paid to a charity as beneficiary.

Three Ways To Give to EarthShare Ohio Through Your Will or Trust

Your will or living trust is another way to make a gift to EarthShare Ohio. It can be gratifying to know that a portion of your property will be put to good use after you no longer need it. There are no limits on the amount you can bequeath to charity. Some individuals leave as little as $50 in their will, while others leave their entire estates - all free of estate taxes.
